The 2 days of tours for our U3A Group went very well. Holy Island was so beautiful and calm and the weather was glorious to enjoy the Northumberland Coastline too. Hadrian’s Wall, Chesters Roman Fort, Hexham and Tynedale were amazing. We loved the Abbey. Our passengers all said they had enjoyed everywhere we went and what they saw and did.
Thank you so much for the very enjoyable and informative commentary on our River Tyne trip. Your knowledge was amazing and you kept our group amused and enthralled with tales of the river, its industries and people as we cruised by many famous locations. We all had such an enjoyable time and will join again in the future for the other River cruise.
After our recent tour and trip to Newcastle I wanted to tell you that our U3A Group found your City tour so enjoyable and full of interest. The beautiful architecture in the buildings of Grey Street was an eye opener to the City. They particularly loved their visits to Trinity House and The Mining Institute, both such a part of Newcastle’s famous history. Thanks so much for working on the itinerary for me as I wanted to do so much. It all went so well.
We all enjoyed our Newcastle City Tour by coach. Your arrangements for the group were so good and we loved everything about the City. Your passion for Newcastle and your area touched everyone on our coach. We will spread the word about your beautiful city.
Our family day trip from the cruise ship Zuiderdam docked in Newcastle, was the highlight of our cruise. We wanted to see countryside and beautiful landscapes. You took us into the hills of the North Pennines, saying it was an area of outstanding natural beauty and it certainly was. The landscapes, geology and wildlife are special there. We loved your stories of life and the people in the areas. We will always remember the beautiful village of Blanchland and visiting a 12th century Abbey Church. It was mindblowing for us, and the White Monk tea room so charming, welcoming and historic. You really made our time there. You are such a great guide and very passionate about where you live. You truly are an Ambassador for your beautiful part of our world.
I am being inundated with Emails & thank you cards from our Group. All with one theme "Congratulations, Well Done" & "when can we go again?" As you say, they fell in love with North East England. You did say they would! Thank you for your contribution to a very successful holiday.
