A very big thank you for making our holiday such a success. Everyone has spoken to me wanting to know “where I found you”. I’m so pleased I did. Your pleasant, unhurried manner and wonderful knowledge of the area brought everything to life. Thanks so much for your care.

For our Northumbria Holiday Group Visit we were so pleased to be accompanied by our “excellent, informative and entertaining Blue Badge Guide Tom Keating”. The tours included Newcastle, Hadrian’s Wall and Hexham, Lindisfarne and the Farne Islands. Our group voted for Beamish as the highlight attraction of their tour, along with Tom of course.

Both days could not have gone better. Our group has some great characters, full of interest and lovely questions and they could not have been more complimentary. They loved the city and the Durham Dales with Barnard Castle and High Force. The tour to Hexham, Chesters, The Wall and Blanchland was superb, with glorious weather.

Out of sight but never out of mind. We enjoyed our tour with you very much. As a retired Army Major, I was amazed at your explanations of the Roman Army. I learnt so much from you and thank you for sending me the book you told me about. I will treasure it. You are a mountain of knowledge. I'm sure we'll meet again.
