The 2 days of tours for our U3A Group went very well. Holy Island was so beautiful and calm and the weather was glorious to enjoy the Northumberland Coastline too. Hadrian’s Wall, Chesters Roman Fort, Hexham and Tynedale were amazing. We loved the Abbey. Our passengers all said they had enjoyed everywhere we went and what they saw and did.
Excellent news, Tom. Northumberland (plus a certain Mr Keating) do just keep coming up trumps for us. If only there were many more just as reliable destinations.
Both days could not have gone better. Our group has some great characters, full of interest and lovely questions and they could not have been more complimentary. They loved the city and the Durham Dales with Barnard Castle and High Force. The tour to Hexham, Chesters, The Wall and Blanchland was superb, with glorious weather.
Thanks again for taking me around and sharing some of your interesting insights into the area and its history. I look back on the trip which through your efforts worked out so well. I will be in touch with you again. Many thanks and best wishes.
Hi Tom, I so appreciate everything from you – thank you. You have been amazing to deal with and you did so much preliminary work to ensure the smooth running of the groups time with you and for them to have the best possible experience. I am so pleased everything went according to plan. My Group Leaders have said the tour of the Roman Fort site was excellent with lots of questions and lunching arrangements were perfect. Thank you also for putting them on the quickest route North. We will be in touch to work with you again.
Our Probus Group wish to say thanks for your efforts to make our tours go well on our holiday to County Durham and Northumberland. They loved everything, particularly the Open Treasures in Durham Cathedral. Beamish was amazing and brought back memories to some of the older folk. The Northumberland Coastline was so beautiful and the wonderful sight of those glorious beaches and Castles will live on with us.
