Excellent news, Tom. Northumberland (plus a certain Mr Keating) do just keep coming up trumps for us. If only there were many more just as reliable destinations.
All of our U3A group wish to say thank you for the city walk around Newcastle. You made it so interesting and certainly looked after us so well. The river and bridges views were a highlight for many of us but also the architecture of many of your beautiful buildings. We will remember Earl Grey and Lord Eldon and also now, how your city got its name!
Our family day trip from the cruise ship Zuiderdam docked in Newcastle, was the highlight of our cruise. We wanted to see countryside and beautiful landscapes. You took us into the hills of the North Pennines, saying it was an area of outstanding natural beauty and it certainly was. The landscapes, geology and wildlife are special there. We loved your stories of life and the people in the areas. We will always remember the beautiful village of Blanchland and visiting a 12th century Abbey Church. It was mindblowing for us, and the White Monk tea room so charming, welcoming and historic. You really made our time there. You are such a great guide and very passionate about where you live. You truly are an Ambassador for your beautiful part of our world.
The Group Organiser was very happy with everything. The passengers were complimentary of the whole two days and said the coastline of South Shields to Sunderland was stunning. They never realised it was like that. Thank you for putting the Itinerary together.
Your input with the tour Itinerary for our holiday in Northumbria made it so much easier for us to plan and promote. We knew with your presence we could relax in the knowledge our day tours are feasible and achievable. Everything was perfect. If anyone can show off the Durham Dales to its best it’s you Tom.
